Medical Reiki

Medical Reiki relaxes the patient before, during and after surgery. Reiki is a non-invasive complementary therapy to traditional Western medicine and is becoming more widely accepted in hospitals and operating rooms.

Before Surgery

Following an initial consultation, I meet with the patient for Reiki healing sessions once or twice a week to prepare them mentally and physically for surgery. A relaxed body is better able to receive surgical benefits.

During Surgery

With the surgeon’s permission, I can perform a Reiki treatment in the operating room. Alternatively, I can perform Reiki from a different location, which is equally effective.

After Surgery

Reiki enhances the ability to rest, which promotes faster healing and recovery. Reiki can also ease post-surgical pain.
